Job Description

Position Description – Program Management Analyst

Alion is looking for a high energy, self-starting Program Management Analyst to support the JCETII Program Management Office (PMO).   Under the general direction of the JCETII leadership, assists program management staff in the tracking and administration of contractual and program commitments of moderate to high complexity. 

As a Program Management Analyst, you will provide support on multiple tasks with Project/Program Managers, finance team, deliverables team, subcontract administrators, and others as required.  This role performs a variety of administration support services involving data review, reporting, project coordination, budget review, and other related duties in support of the Project/Program Managers.

This effort includes but is not limited to:

  • Provide PMO Program Manager support
    • Requisition and procurement support for JCETII PMO
    • Plan, manage, and monitor projects through its life cycle to include Spend Plans and Estimates at Completion (EACs)
    • Works heavily with subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate accruals, invoicing, and invoicing substantiation
    • Prepares monthly variance reports with associated justifications
  • Tracking key project tasks, monitor project deliverables and timelines, organize project related meetings and develop reports and other deliverables as assigned.
    • Coordinating collection of information to support bi-weekly and monthly reports
    • Reviewing and consolidating trip and expense reports and forwarding
    • Collecting and editing monthly status report inputs
    • Developing, consolidating materials purchases and customer materials acceptance letters
  • Interfacing with personnel to coordinate meetings and events, maintain logs, records and files, provides end user support, and performs general administrative duties.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Maintains PMO content in JCETII PMO knowledge management tool (SharePoint)
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of government contracting environment, management/business plans and program reporting
  • Excellent communications, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong computer skills, MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of SharePoint and MS Access desired
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2 plus years’ experience in working with DOD or government contracting

US Citizenship required. Eligibility for a DOD clearance may be required after hire.
