Job Description


Alion is looking for a high energy, self starting project administrator to take on project tasks in support of the largest contract  ever awarded to Alion!   Under the general direction of the  Program Manager and Deputy Program Maanager,  assists project management staff in the tracking and administration of contractual  and program commitments of moderate to hihgh complexity.  Will be working on multiple projects in tandem with an assigned project analyst and project manager or managers. Will be submitting project deliverables to the Alion Program Management Office for finialization and delivery to the end user.

This effort  includes but is not limited to:

-  Supporting project travel approval requests development, consolidation, and foward to the responsibile Program Management Office;

-  Revewiing and consolidating trip and expense reports and forwarding

- Ccollecting and editing monthly status report inputs

-  Developing, consolidating materials purchases and customer materials acceptance letters

- Invoice substaniation data provision

- Tracking key project tasks, monitor project deliverables and timelines, organize project related meetings and develop reports and other deliverables as assigned.

- Coordinating  schedules to facilitate completion of contract deliverables, task order review,  and briefings/presen

- Interfacing with personnel to coordinate meetings and events, maintain logs, records and files, provides end user support, and performs general administrative duties.

- Assisting in budgetary, billing, and financial management.

 Additional responsibilities

- Responsible for developing, drafting, writing, and editing reports, briefs, speeches, proposals, and other documents in support of a client's requirements.

- Responsible for preparing and/or maintaining systems, programming and operations documentation, procedures and methods, including user reference materials.

- Coordinates the procurement of materials, products/services and equipment necessary for the operation of the project or program.

- Analyzes bids for specification compliance, prices, delivery commitments and past performance; utilizes online systems as a resource for procurement.

- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Knowledge of government contracting environment, management/business plans and program reporting.

Excellent communications, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Strong customer service orientation.

Strong computer skills, MS Office Suite.

Effective organizational skills.

Bachelor's Degree 2-4
