Responsibilities/Qualification

Position Summary

Under direct supervision, provides support to project and program managers in various departments.

In compliance with the NISPOM, assists in administering the standard aspects of the DOD or other industrial security programs to guarantee conformity with government and company security policies and procedures. Helps to develop schedules and plans to meet security contractual requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities          

Provides support and assistance to management and staff in connection with security matters; enforces security policies and procedures.

Assists in escorting uncleared personnel within the secured office areas and ensuring visitors have required badges before entering.

Ensure compliance with Government regulations affecting the facility.

Maintains records, information, data and statistics on department activities and may monitor schedules for management.

Develops documentation, reports and plans and prepares briefings for staff.                                                                                  

Prepares reports from spreadsheets and databases.

Adheres to administrative procedures and makes recommendations to improve efficiency.

Conducts administrative tasks associated with the industrial security operation including: staff briefings/debriefings, employee rosters including subcontractors and maintenance of security containers and associated locks.

Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Education and work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.

Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.                                                                                            

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Familiarity with the NISPOM a plus

Security

Must be a US Citizen currently hold and able to maintain a US Secret security clearance
