Responsibilities/Qualification

 

Position Summary

Under direct supervision, provides support to project and program managers in various departments.

Develops plans and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements. In compliance with the NISPOM, assists in administering the standard aspects of the DOD or other industrial security programs to guarantee conformity with government and company security policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities          

Reviews contractual requirements and participates in defining program requirements.

Drafts correspondence and prepares presentations.                                                                                  

Maintains records, information, data and statistics on department activities and may monitor project schedules for management.

Prepares custom reports from spreadsheets and databases.

Implements strategies for deploying and implementing new program planning policy initiatives and measures the effectiveness of implementation.

Assists in escorting uncleared personnel within the secured office areas and ensuring visitors have required badges before entering.

Conducts tasks associated with the industrial security operation including: staff briefings/debriefings, employee rosters including subcontractors and maintenance of security containers and associated locks.

Ensure compliance with Government regulations affecting the facility.

Interfaces with personnel to coordinate meetings and events, maintain logs, records and files, provides end user support, and performs general program administrative duties.

Responsible for opening/ closing and securing the facility in accordance with the documented procedures. Schedule is subject to fluctuate on a weekly basis based on operational needs; flexibility is required.

Serves as an internal resource for general inquiries and resolution of problems.

Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline plus 0 to 2 years of directly related experience in technical program planning, administration, budgets, and development. Education and work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.

Knowledge of government or other contracting environment relating to technical, scientific and analytical services, and identification of new business opportunities.

Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.                                                                                                

Excellent grammar, punctuation, spelling and proofreading skills.                                                                      

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications mainly Excel and Word.

Familiarity with the NISPOM.

Familiarity with the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) a plus.

Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) Course Certificate of Completion a plus.

Security

Must be a US Citizen able to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance.

Current US Secret Security Clearance a plus.
