Job Description



Under limited supervision of the DSA Manager, provides technical support in the areas of Tomahawk installation planning and coordination, shipyard planning activities, and the development of planning documentation to support Navy Modernization.

Develop Memorandums of Agreement (MOA) with outside Navy organizations to support concurrent installation activities.

Conducts site surveys of ships to receive Tomahawk installations for the purpose of planning and engineering requirements.

Education and Required Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years directly related experience working in support of engineering or installation planning is preferred but not required.

In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 5 years applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.

2+ years of experience as a project scheduler, including maintaining responsibility for creating and updating project schedules, working with team and project leads to schedule resources, tracking progress, developing reports, and briefing project schedule status.

Experience with Microsoft Project to monitor the health and progress of project schedules.

Experience with using Project Professional 2010 and Project Professional 2013 to build project schedules.  Project Scheduling Professional Certification a plus.

A Secret level clearance will be required post-employment.

Experience supporting Navy organizations HIGHLY preferred.

Experience with business intelligence techniques for reporting and analysis preferred.

Ability to adapt delivery for varied peer and leadership audience.

Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a complex and dynamic environment.

Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.

Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including with business intelligence.
