Job Description



The Resource Manager will source, identify and recruit expansion, replacement and contingent staff for exempt and non-exempt positions from external / internal sources. They will work with technical subject matter experts and hiring managers to understand and define job competencies and recruiting requirements for all open positions, as well as proposal efforts. The candidate will coordinate internal postings and use appropriate internet sources for external postings, as well as cold calling and use of social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates. They will be responsible for conducting pre-screening interviews and coordinating all interviews with hiring managers. The candidate will manage all aspects of the recruiting process using our on-line applicant tracking system. They will also work to provide business intelligence for use in proposals and current opportunities. As part of the Recruiting team, this individual will participate in networking events, expositions and career fairs.

The candidate will also complement the already existing corporate recruiting functions requiring them to interact with senior leadership on defining the recruiting priorities for a Wright Patterson Air Force Base contract.  The position is at the customer site with some level of effort required at corporate to coordinate/liaison with the corporate staff. This person will have the responsibility of coordinate onsite recruiting and retention meetings to cross pollinate between human resources (HR) and operations.  



Job Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of high volume recruiting experience in a corporate or third party recruiting environment to include online sourcing, cold calls, networking, etc. 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (Supplementary DoD certifications preferred)
  • Applicant Tracking System experience
  • Recruiting experience in the Federal/DoD sector
  • Must be able to do technical interviews with candidates to determine fit for the role
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
  • Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) preferred (or industry equivalent)
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance
