Responsibilities/Qualification

Responsibilities

Provides senior level AEGIS Baseline Development and Combat Systems Integration technical program support under minimal supervision for Combat Systems Engineering (CSE) in PEO IWS 4.0, the AEGIS International and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program Office.

Supports the IWS 4 CSE Baseline Manager in the development and analysis of technical review artifacts, technical documentation, schedules, and action items.

Comments on PEO FMS documentation in preparation for International Meetings and Forums, PARM

reviews, technical and releasability reviews of deliverables, System Engineering Plans, and high

level working papers. Prepares meeting minutes and develops PowerPoint presentations for CSE

Baseline Manager review and approval.

Applies standard technical concepts, techniques and procedures to provide support to the IWS 4

CSE Baseline Manager in technical execution and planning of FMS program Baseline Development in accordance with DoD and USN policy.

Provides regular minimally supervised and occasional independent interaction with PEO IWS 4.0 customers and provides input to project managers on programmatic and technical deliverables.

Assists in the analysis of existing systems and the definition, design, and development of new

system requirements. Performs basic engineering work in analysis, design, development,

evaluation, planning, testing and operation in support of system and technical product development.

Duties often include the collection of information and data, performance of various tests, and the

development of technical documents.

Complies with applicable quality and security procedures in the performance of duties. Provides

recommendations for improvements to existing quality systems and applicable company procedures

and guidelines.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree plus 5 to 7 years of related experience. Degree must be in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related discipline.

In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 7 years of

applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted based on education, or highly

specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.

AEGIS Combat Systems Baseline Development experience is a plus.

AEGIS Combat/Weapons Systems Engineering is required.

US Navy Shipboard and/or Shipyard experience is a plus.

Active Secret Clearance is required.

Current U.S. Passport is required.
