Responsibilities/Qualification

Position Summary

This position will be under the direction of a Program Manager to assist in the tracking and administration of research and development projects. It will involve tracking key project tasks, monitoring project deliverables and timelines, organizing and documenting project related meetings, developing reports, archiving project information, and performing data collection and analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities

The team member prepares and revises agendas, presentations and reports; provides technical and administrative support at meetings and project-related events; coordinates and participates in conference calls and meetings as required; assists in financial management; and reviews and archives project documentation.

The team member performs analysis, development, and review of program administrative operating procedures. The team member is responsible for developing, drafting, writing, and editing reports, briefs, speeches, proposals, and other documents as required. The team member interfaces with industry and government personnel to coordinate meetings and events, maintain logs, records and files, provides end user support, and performs general administrative duties. The team member interfaces directly with government customers to receive new tasks and report on the status of tasks.

The team member prepares and presents reports, studies, cost analyses, and briefings; participates in technical discussions at project review sessions; researches logistics technology advancements and applies appropriate technology in order to improve logistics processes; builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives.

Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree plus 5 to 7 years directly related experience working in support of a Program Manager on a government contract.

 Data analysis experience is a plus.  Must have strong communication and organizational skills.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience. 

Knowledge of government contracting environment, management/business plans and program reporting.

Excellent communications, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Strong customer service orientation.

Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Effective organizational skills. Ability to organize and manage all program-related documentation including technical, administrative, budgetary and planning.

Ability to develop strong working relationships within teams

A security clearance of an appropriate level may be required after employment.
