Position Summary of Duties
The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist will report to the Recruiting Manager and will be responsible for performing full life cycle recruiting efforts. The role is ideal for a strong candidate who is passionate about or interested in working toward exceeding company hiring goals.
Must work very closely with hiring managers, engaging as a strategic business partner to assess hiring and business needs and successfully fill job openings in a timely manner.
Using a variety of recruiting sources, the Sr. Recruiter will post job openings, source resumes from internal and external websites, utilize social media and various advertisement options, identify qualified candidates, schedule interviews, provide benefit information, negotiate salary offers and extend employment offers.
Discuss HR Policies and Procedures with hiring managers when necessary. Provide weekly recruiting status reports to management.
Attend and participate in regular Talent Acquisition meetings to discuss recruiting issues and updates.
Responsible for managing applicant profiles in HRIS system, and perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, plus at least 5 to 7 years of full life cycle recruiting experience working in a government contracting environment. In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for equivalent work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.
