Job Description



Responsibilities/Qualification

Provides support to Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC PAC) Enterprise Training Activity (SETA) customer. Responsible for the administrative and technical direction of a group of employees in a specific functional area.  The functional area assigned can be any area relevant to the customer. 

Duties and Responsibilities

** Applicant must hold an active Secret clearance **
Maintains current knowledge of the technical state of the art for the assigned area of supervision.

Resolves technical problems encountered by staff.

Acquires supplies, equipment, and other materials needed by staff and/or customer.

Determines staff assignment work schedules and ensures accurate completion of time sheets for appropriate venture numbers.

Apprises manager of work status and other matters requiring management direction.

Prepares written reports, letters, and memoranda required for internal or external distribution.

Provides briefings to customer staff as required.

Ensures the timely and accurate products, outputs, or services required of the functional area.

Provides support needed for internal and external operations.

Complies with security procedures in the performance of duties.

Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelors of Science degree in appropriate computer science or information systems field or equivalent experience plus minimum of 5 years of experience, of which at least 3 year must be specialized experience in managing Technical Training Equipment installations in Navy schoolhouses. This position requires experience with the Training System Installation Plan (TSIP) process, the Fleet Requirement Configuration Board (FRCB) process, and the SPAWAR Shore Installation Process Handbook (SIPH).

Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.

A SECRET clearance is required for this position.

May require additional Information Assurance-related certifications such as CompTIA Security +, CISSP etc.
