Responsibilities/Qualification

  The selected candidate will be be multi-tasked and expected to serve in various support roles germane to that of a fast-paced, testing and evaluation environment.



The candidate must be well-versed with the entire life-cycle testing process to include contractor testing (CT), interoperability testing, Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E), and Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E). Support testing activities of Cyber tools and systems to include early influence, initial test planning, detailed test planning, test execution, test evaluation, data analysis, and test reporting.



As a scheduler/planner, the candidate will assist in managing the phases of testing.  Help maintain and update the schedules for tests and test integration activities applying resolutions to the schedule when required. 



As a document coordinator and co-author, the candidate will develop and update all testing documents to include test concepts, test plans, various briefings, test checklists, test reports.



As a tester, the candidate will develop Critical Operational Issues (COIs), Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs), Measures of Suitability (MOSs), and Measures of Performance (MOPs).  Develop new or modify existing test methodologies to enable a disciplined and repeatable process for test metrics.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related field.

  •    
  • Minimum five (5) years experience conducting both component and system integration level testing on complex software products.

  •    
  • Minimum five (5) years experience  as a system administrator supporting computer systems running Microsoft Windows NT, Unix and Linux operating systems

  •    
  • Minimum five (5) years experience as  a system administrator supporting computer network hardware including, but not limited to Bridges, Switches, Routers, and Gateways

  •    
  • Minimum five (5) years experience  identifying and resolving network system issues with IT hardware such as repeaters, bridges, routers, gateways, and hubs and operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Sun Solaris, and Linux

  •    
  • Minimum five (5) years experience working in an IT engineering lab loading (file transfer via electronic of storage media), installing and maintaining the operability of commercial off-the-shelf computer and IT equipment and supporting software

  •    
  • Minimum five (5) years experience with computer networking protocols including, but not limited to TCP, IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP, and DNS

  •    
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in C, C++, Perl, Python, or other scripting language

  •    
  • Experience installing, configuring, and using personal security products including host and network based firewalls and intrusion detection systems

  •    
  • Experience building Software Test Harnesses
